Itinerary :

Departure : Fountain of Caroline, Donkey track, yellow markings up to the pass of Saint Pierre, GR 20 red and white markings until the Lake of Nino

Arrival : Fountain of Caroline around 5 p.m.

Chronology :

Meeting point : La Promenâne Albertacce at 6.45 a.m.

No delays will be accepted. If necessary, the hike will have to be adjusted.

7 a.m. : Departure to the Fountain of Caroline ; the donkey is transported in a livestock truck.

7.15 a.m. : Arrival at the Fountain of Caroline, pack-saddle the donkey, start of the hike.

5 p.m. : We fetch the donkey at the Fountain of Caroline. Return to La Promenâne.

Hiking time: Between 7 and 8 hours of walking (round trip).

Price : 80 euros per donkey

Possibility to start from the ski station of Castel de Vergio: 120 euros per donkey 

Provide good hiking shoes, warm clothes, a windproof jacket and sufficient water and food. City sneakers and sandals are strictly forbidden.

Clients without a vehicle must arrange their own transportation to the starting point, as Promenâne does not provide transport for hikers.
